I had a really good Chicken Alfredo pizza at a restaurant and would like to make it at home. Do you have an easy recipe for the sauce?

A basic alfredo sauce can be made with butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese. Use the following ingredient combination, and melt the butter and cream, whisking often, and then add the remaining ingredients and cook until the cheese is melted.

1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Variations on Alfredo sauce include mixing in cream cheese and milk instead of the cream. You can also add about a half cup mozzarella cheese (to this quantity recipe), or to make the Olive Garden recipe, whisk in 3 egg yolks.

hi there - - does your cookbook 'cook once eat twice' cover ham? I have a 4 lb ham to make...but I'd really like to find something to do with the inevitable leftovers....

Yes, my Cook Once...Eat Twice! book has a great recipe for a baked Ham & Swiss Ziti that is a great way to utilize your leftover ham.
