Organizing Dinner

70 Meals, One Trip to the Store

Testimonials

I could be the poster mom for your cookbook!! I met you this past September when you spoke at the MOPS group at Village Church in Barrington. I was one of the girls who raised my hand for "do not like to cook". I promised I'd send you feedback, so here it is!

I've used your cookbook almost every weeknight since I brought it home, and I LOVE IT! I filled my kitchen with your list, and started cooking! Now I DON'T plan! EVER!! I just get out the meat I want to use (or plan for one of the non meat recipes) and at about 4:00 I thumb through the book and pick something we're in the mood for. Then I start cooking, and presto, we're eating a fabulous meal at 5:00 (or whenever). Not only do I have dinner ready each time I need it, it's fast, fun, easy, and YUMMY! Your variety is WONDERFUL, the recipes are easy, and they taste AMAZINGLY great! I made your chicken-fried-rice and, trust me, I never thought I could cook something that good!

I have discovered that it wasn't "cooking" that I didn't like, it was "planning meals" that bogged me down. I CANNOT, CANNOT, CANNOT express to you how much your book has changed my life. Seriously. I've tried "the 3-Ingredient Cookbook", "30 minute meals", "Fix-It and Forget-It", "Once-a-Month-Cooking", of course my "Betty Crocker
Cookbook" and even subscribed in the past to "Quick Cooking Magazine". The problem I see now was that I had to plan the meals for the week, and then go shop. (I'm not good at that.) Not only that, I've found that a lot of the books that promise fast, easy meals don't taste that great  (or are just too weird to want to eat again).

I recommend it to everyone I know, and hopefully there'll be a few people going to your site to buy a copy! Again, I cannot rave enough about it. It has made cooking actually fun for me. Tonight, it's meal #20.  J

Thanks!
